Diana Cook Obituary

North Bend, WA - Diana Cook passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, holding the hands of both her daughters, with her devoted husband and beloved sister by her side. She left this world as she lived in it -- embraced by family, warmth, and deep connection.

Diana was a cherished wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, devoted daughter, caring sister, and loyal friend. She was the heart of her family and a steady, reassuring presence to all who knew her. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy; they filled her life with laughter and purpose, and she poured her love into them without limit.

In her professional life, Diana served as a respected Director of Nursing and manager, known for her intelligence, leadership, and compassion. She led with both strength and kindness, earning the admiration of colleagues and the trust of those in her care. Her sharp mind, quick wit, and warm sense of humor made working with her both rewarding and inspiring.

Diana possessed a remarkable talent for bringing beauty into the world. She was an accomplished florist with an eye for color and detail, a skilled seamstress, and an exceptional cook whose meals brought people together. Smart, funny, kind, and endlessly fun, Diana had a rare gift for making others feel seen and valued. Her legacy lives on in the family she treasured, the lives she touched through her work, and the countless memories made brighter by her presence. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Diana is survived by her husband of 51 years, Greg Cook; her daughters, Sara Tarp (Luke, Logan, and Madison Tarp) and Megan Narrance (David, Liam, and Dylan Narrance); her mother, Betty Tate; her siblings, Richard Tate, Laura Johnson (Wally Johnson), and Becky Blanc (Tim Blanc); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 1-3 p.m. at The Foundry, located at 1111 Abadie Street in Walla Walla, WA. All who knew and loved Diana are warmly invited to join in honoring her memory.
