Tucson, AZ - With great sadness we announce the passing of Cynthia Knutson, 74, formerly of Walla Walla, on May 26, 2025, in Tucson, AZ. She was born in Phoenix, AZ to William and June Ross. After attending the University of Arizona, where she received a degree in cello performance, she moved to the northwest, eventually settling in Walla Walla. She worked for the Bonneville Power Administration, but lived to pursue her passion for music - cello, piano, organ and clogging. Cynthia is survived by her siblings: Brenda Ross, Daphne Madson, Dwayne Ross and Nelson Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Knutson. Memorials or donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 1420 S. 2nd Ave., Walla Walla, WA.
